Stop managing pain. Start fixing it.
Your pain has a root cause — and most massage just rubs where it hurts. As a body mechanic, I diagnose why it hurts, fix the cause, and get you back to running, lifting, and living without the ache.

Pain doesn't just hurt. It takes things.
It starts small — you stop running the long route, you sit out one game, you let the garden go. You don't notice you're negotiating with your own life until you've handed over most of it. Here's what my clients handed over, and what they got back.
"Standing long enough to cook a meal was painful. I had no stamina for walking, and I certainly couldn't keep up with my grandchildren."Dorothy K. · fibromyalgia, two hip surgeries
Travelling again, with a large new flower garden to come home to.
"After two back surgeries I was left in a considerable amount of pain and very limited movement."Dana W. · post-surgical back pain
Moving after the very first visit. Pain-free within weeks.
"I had to watch my teammates and friends train and race as I gingerly hobbled along the sidelines."Adrienne L. · elite distance runner
Racing pain-free — and dropping race times sharply.
"It literally took me 20 minutes of agonizing pain just to get out of bed the next morning."Ken B. · golfer, 46
Back on the course two days later, after one session.
"My knees won't stop hurting and the doctor said I have to decrease my activities."Jake B. · age 14, baseball & football
90% better in about three weeks. Still playing both sports.
"My world was getting narrower."Dorothy K.
That's the sentence I hear more than any other, in a hundred different wordings. It doesn't have to keep narrowing — and you don't have to accept "learn to live with it" from anyone.
A spa manages pain. A body mechanic fixes it.
Chain-spa massage feels good for a day or two, then the same knot comes back — because nobody asked why it was there. Every session here starts with a diagnosis: pain in one place usually starts somewhere else.
Typical spa massage
- Same routine for every body
- Rubs the spot that hurts
- Different therapist each visit
- Relief fades in a day or two
- No plan beyond "come back soon"
Body MechaniX therapy
- Movement assessment before hands-on work
- Treats the cause, not the symptom
- Same clinical specialist, every session
- Results that hold between visits
- Corrective exercise so it stays fixed
Six tools. One goal: get you out of pain.
Every session blends whichever of these your body actually needs — you book time with me, not a menu item.
Sports Massage
Train harder, recover faster, and show up to race day loose instead of limping. Built for runners, lifters, and weekend athletes.
View spec → SVC-02Medical & Orthopedic Massage
Clinical, outcome-based treatment for injuries, chronic conditions, and post-surgical recovery — often the step people skip before surgery.
View spec → SVC-03Trigger Point Therapy
That "knot" that shoots pain somewhere else? That's a trigger point. Precise pressure releases it at the source.
View spec → SVC-04Myofascial Release
Slow, sustained work on the connective tissue that wraps every muscle — for stiffness that stretching never touches.
View spec → SVC-05Cupping Therapy
Decompression instead of compression: cups lift and separate stuck tissue to restore blood flow and glide.
View spec → SVC-06IASTM / Scraping
Instrument-assisted work that breaks down scar tissue and adhesions — the go-to for stubborn tendon issues.

In the Marine Corps you never swap parts and hope — you trace the fault first. Your first visit works the same way.
Inspect
We talk through your symptoms, then I assess how you actually move. Pain in one place usually starts somewhere else.
Repair
Hands-on treatment targeted at the root cause — trigger point, myofascial, cupping, scraping — whatever the fault calls for.
Maintain
You leave with simple corrective exercises so the fix holds. My goal is fewer visits, not more.
Fixed, not managed.
"Hey, look! I'm walking and nothing hurts!" I'm sure my friends and family got tired of hearing me say it.Dorothy K. · fibromyalgia
"I have to admit that I was skeptical, but in one session, he made the pain go away! I couldn't believe it."Michell B. · runner, knee pain
"After 4 sessions in less than 3 weeks, I finished my dream marathon without walking once!"Sarah J. · NYC Marathon
"How long before I feel something?"
Sooner than most people expect — because we go after the cause instead of chasing the ache around. Real timelines from the stories above:

I finished the physical therapy program — then walked away from it.
Not because it's bad work. Because I kept watching the protocols carry people from injured to better, and then stop — appointments used up, still not right. My own clients kept improving month after month, and I realized "better" was never the finish line I wanted to hand anyone. Before that I was a Marine Corps F-18 jet mechanic, where you never swap a part and hope; you trace the fault to its source. Sixteen years later, that's still the whole method.
Common questions
How do I book an appointment?
Call or text (832) 326-8816. Tell me what hurts and when it started — I'll tell you honestly whether I can help, and we'll find a time. Texting is perfect if you're reading this at work.
What should I expect at my first session?
A short conversation about your pain history, a movement assessment, then hands-on treatment in the same visit. You'll leave knowing what's causing the problem and what the plan is.
Is this like a spa massage?
No — and that's the point. This is clinical bodywork aimed at a specific outcome: less pain, better movement. It's comfortable, but every minute has a purpose.
How many sessions will I need?
Most clients feel a clear difference in the first visit. Depending on how long the problem has been building, a full fix typically takes a handful of sessions — and I'll tell you up front. My goal is to fix you, not to see you forever.
Where are you located?
A private studio minutes from The Woodlands and Spring, by appointment only — no walk-ins, no waiting room. I'll text you the address and directions when you book.
Tell me where it hurts.
One call or text and you're talking directly to the therapist who'll treat you. If I'm with a client, I'll get back to you the same day.
